The eagle eyed Steve Marsh found this little number some where in the UK. He says that it has been taken out of a museum for some restoration, although it does look in great nick as it is! Do you have any other info or know any thing else about it? email me truckblog@hotmail.co.uk or add a comment.

W100 HCW Caught napping in Cyprus!
How bizarre things can be. Friday last week the boss GW received an email from a concerned/informative member of the Great British Pulic. Mr T Seward fro Durham was enjoying his holiday in Cyrus when he came across said truck parked up for the weekend in Limassol. The mail read, Mr Seaward was concerned our truck may have been stolen or sold and still be in our colours or indeed we may still be lookinmg for it. If only all members of the Briitish public were so helpfull. Here is Mr Seawards photo, no sign of the driver, i dare say he was off some where with a beer in his hand!

Terminal Camera’s
Ever wondered what your truck looks like when you drive through the camera systems as you arrive at the docks? Well now you can see, thanks to Norfolkline. Makes for quite a cool picture i reckon!
W100 HCW in Cyprus
What a life the long distance lorry driver has. Deliver Saturday 20km from Limassol then you have to wait til 1600hrs Tuesday for the boat back to Greece. Lovely, what would you do with your self getting paid in Cyprus for the best part of 3 days. I think i’d park up for the weekend some where, then perhaps tout for some local jobs on Monday!! Just in case anyone knows there is a 6 wheel rigid of HC Wilson in Cyprus untill Tuesday afternoon.
New Volvo for Armoric
This little gem was on the Volvo stand at The Royal Cornwall Show last week. Although i’m not, as many of you are aware, the biggest Volvo fan, it is a truck, i like trucks, and its a smart one at that. Also i’ve Armoric have always caught my eye. They strike me a haulier who justs seems to get on with the job and always be on the move some where. On our way back up the M4 Saturday afternoon, we passed a DAF heading West again, just getting on with the job. Any other Armoric facts of Photos’s please email them to me truckblog@hotmail.co.uk

The Long Haul Pioneers by Ashley Coghill
On the way to work this morning, i stoppped off at Old Pond Publishing in Ipswich to collect my copy’s (No. 149 & 150) of the newly released book by Ashley Coghill, The Long Haul Pioneers. Unfortunatly i was only able to flick through a couple of pages, but the few pictures i saw look priceless. If you have any interest in Middle East Trucking its got to be worth buying a copy. I’ll let you know how i get on when i get to look through it properly. To order your copy head to Old Pond Publishing’s site and get ordering, click here to go the the right page.

Old Bedford at Eden
While wandering around the tropical Dome at the Eden Project, i was making my way through the Sugar Cane, when i stumbled across this old dog. Brightly coloured and looking like she was loading another load of cane, although i’m not entirley sure the constant wet and humid air will do much for preserving the old girl! Judging by the other people taking pictures of the truck mine wasn’t the only eye caught by the bright colours!!

Hello All. Sorry i didn’t get time to tell you i was going to be on holiday last week. So…………. I was on holiday last week in Cornwall, normal posting will resume in the next day or 2 while i get everything sorted out!

EGV Off to Foreign Lands Again
Once more EGV 565T is heading off the Europe. Last night she set sail from Felixstowe to Vlaardingen, NL. Delivering 20Ton to Antwerp this morning, reloading Maasluis, NL this afternoon, then off to Paris-ish for an Oldtimer show this weekend. Looked good she did in some rare summer sun! Do you know of any working trucks that are 30 years old? If so email me at truckblog@hotmail.co.uk or post a comment below.
