The winner of the 2008 International truck of the year is the new MAN TGS and TGX range. A worthy winner i think considering the competition. Its a lovely looking truck especially the top of the range TGX in full attire.

The TGX. Lovely! I guess the option of a 680hp V8 helped in the winning decision. Also the range has benefitted from a new grille and bumper, and the interiour has been re-organised, maximising the massive interiour space.

Well done MAN, if anyone knows of a 680 in the UK please let me know, email me at ben@truckblog.co.uk.

Crikey can you imagine the scene if Mr VOSA pulled over these 2. How many of you have been told off for having blue lights or coloured lenses or any thing else light related! I think Mr VOSA man would run out of pages in his book!
Lucky old me and poor old Jo. I’ve just confirmed our flights to Amsterdam on Friday 2nd November to have a lovely day trip to the truck show. So you can look forward to some pictures and reports, if there is anything in particular that you would like me to look out for then email me; ben@truckblog.co.uk

Get your head round this, if its right, its a day cabbed bonnetted 4×2 cabriolet V8, who’s gonna be first down to the scania dealership to order one?……………………. i think we know the answer Scania will give

Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear!! How or where do you you start trying to explain this to the boss man! I’m not sure of the details but i bet the driver of this Kenworth from New Zealand might just have had one of his off days. I like the way in the picture below, someone is on their knees having a look as if to say, “I’m not sure but i think its broke!”
Thanks to a friends brother in NZ for the pics.
